Aprons made for haircutting have several different materials for you to choose from but not all are ideal for barbering.

These are the materials to avoid-

Plastic coated gets so hot! Though it does prevent hair from coming through to the clothes and skin, it makes the wearer pretty sweaty. And in the hair industry, we work pretty closely to people and don’t want to stink.

Linen and cotton are too soft, the hairs cling to those fabrics and are difficult to wash out. In my opinion, if these are the only options, you might as well not wear an apron at all.
