Is Cosmetology For Me Quiz Mostly A Results –
If you answered mostly a’s cosmetology school is probably not your best career choice.
If consistent and routine, ‘normal’ and regular, are what you are most comfortable with, cosmetology would stretch you farther out of your comfort zone than you might ever want to be.
Cosmetology is constantly changing and requiring strong people skills, extroverted energy.
If You Answered Mostly B Results
If you answered mostly B’s you might still be undecided on if this might be your ideal line of work.
However that might not mean that it’s wrong for you! It simply means that you need to do a little more research and I encourage you to go visit some cosmetology schools to see if you can picture yourself there.
Or you can even go to a salon and ask the front desk if you can just look around and sit in the lobby and watch the stylists and their clients. See if you can picture yourself in that career.
(Don’t worry it’s not awkward, there are far weirder things that happen in the salon than someone asking to sit in the lobby, and most of the time if you tell them that you are undecided about cosmetology school or not and just want to see how a salon operates and see if you might like it, they will be more than happy to answer your questions about the industry.)

Other Details to Consider
What kind of environment encourages your learning?
Cosmetology schools typically focus on visual and hands-on learning styles, as these are the most relevant to the field.
If you learn well from doing something over and over again, cosmetology school is for you.
Also you have to be able to talk to people. A good chunk of the job is to problem-solve, and play detective. To achieve the exact image that your client has in their head into your head, and then create it from scratch.
It’s truly an art.
